Climb aboard the Pacific Surfliner, whose rails hug the California coastline from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara.
What sets X Wine Railroad apart is that our excursions are designed to be enhancing experiences and a means of discovery.
The journey begins at Los Angeles’s Union Station, which opened in 1939 and was one of the last great American train depots to be built. We’ve reserved a private Business Class car for our group. So, grab a seat and a cup of coffee (or perhaps a celebratory glass of sparkling wine?) as we head from the urban jungle to the tangled vines of Santa Barbara Wine Country. In a little more than two hours, we’ll arrive in downtown Santa Barbara where a fleet of luxury shuttles will transport our group to the bucolic region of Los Olivos and Santa Ynez.
Following our day of tasting and touring, we’ll return to the Santa Barbara train station by private shuttle and begin our journey back to reality arriving in Los Angeles at 9:48 p.m. During our journey home, toast the spectacular day you experienced with a complimentary glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage.
Yes, all good things must come to an end – but visit our 2021 Itinerary Page to book another trip and experience a different winery.
